The Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel – magnificent resort in the heart of Rome, famous for its Mediterranean park from where is enjoyable the most beautiful view of the Eternal City, famous as well for the art collection, worthy of a large museum, for the multi-award wellness center and for the La Pergola restaurant, the only one in Rome awarded with three Michelin stars – has celebrated the 17th edition of the Rome Film Festival with an exclusive dinner by Heinz Beck.

After the Festival opening ceremony and the show of the first of the films included in the program – The hummingbird by Francesca Archibugi – two hundred and fifty carefully selected guests reached the Rome Cavalieri, on the most panoramic rooftop in the city, to celebrate the event in the name of good and beauty, welcomed by the Managing Director Alessandro Cabella. Among the guests of the evening, the Oscar® winner James Ivory, Melissa Newman, daughter of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, the cast of Il colibrì including the protagonists Pierfrancesco Favino, Kasia Smutniak and Bérénice Bejo, the singer Marco Mengoni, the President of the Cinema Foundation for Rome Gian Luca Farinelli, Paola Malanga, Artistic Director of the Rome Film Fest and of the Cinema Foundation for Rome, and Francesca Via, General Director among the guests many managers and entrepreneurs including Adele Schipani, CEO of Luxury Lab Cosmetics.

Entering the spectacular hall of the Cavalieri, which houses part of the masterpieces of the hotel’s private art collection, between a ritual photo on the red carpet, a short stop to admire the Tiepolo triptych and the landscapes of Zais, then the guests went up to the top floor for dinner, where the incomparable view of monumental Rome up to the slopes of the Castles around the town, the perfection and wholesomeness of chef Heinz Beck’s menu, combined with the glamor of a hotel that always knows how to amaze for the excellence of every detail, have made an extraordinary setting for this special event.

Heinz Beck, a great lover of quality cinema, delighted his guests with a special menu, with a selection of his iconic dishes, including Amberjack with Eggplant and Chamomile, Fine Herb Risotto with Prawns, Turbot with Peppers and green gazpacho, all accompanied by champagne from the Armand de Brignac house.
